Luau

The Opening Ceremonies were capped off by a magnificent luau for over 1,000 people at the Royal Lahaina Resort.  The setting, with the sun gently sinking against a backdrop of gorgeous beach and neighboring islands in the distance was almost as good as the food.  There was an amazing assortment of all you can eat food including steak, teriyaki chicken,  salmon, pork, pig and various vegetable and fruits.  Also, there was an open bar which including fantastic tropical drinks.   The setting, with the sun gently setting over the gorgeous beach and the neighboring islands in the background was breathtaking.   The entertainment was almost as good as the food!  Beautiful men and women performing native Hawaiian dances, a very humorous Master of Ceremonies and lots of group participation.  Click the link to read more about the Royal Lahaina Resort Luau.   Click on the pictures below to see larger images.
